A Detailed Documentation of my Healthcare-Tech Startup
SahoBuddy aims to bring senior citizens together through a simple app, solve their problem of loneliness, and assist them with their needs and bucket lists in life through the help of a 'Buddy.
During my Undergraduate degree at Nirma University Ahmedabad, I pitched my startup idea and I was one of the 8 people selected among 200 people by Student Startup Innovation Policy (SSIP), Government of Gujarat - and I was given a grant of
Rs. 100,000 to build a prototype of my startup.
I was in my final semester of my degree, and we had to do an internship at a company and the learnings and the work would be graded for the Final Degree Project.
So, I decided to intern at my own company.

After the Degree Project, we continued to work on the social media, made flyers and did marketing, ran a pilot and made a working prototype of the front end of the app.
